Question Electronics, etc.

Next trip down to Aruba I am looking to pick up a few various electronics items that I rather not lug down there. For example - ipod dock, dvd player, wii.

I may also be looking for a small BBQ grill and hard sided cooler.

Any reccomendations on where to get this stuff? Is this stuff going to be more expensive in Aruba, rather than USA?

Thanks!

It will be more expensive in Aruba and almost double in cost but if you need to buy something in Aruba try Pricesmart.

Thanks all!

I will probably bring an iPod dock from the US. Probably pick up the rest down there if I find a good price.

I don't know a lot of people who live in Aruba, but those I do ALL purchased their wii's in the states and brought them BACK to Aruba.

Send a message via Skype™ to Andrea J.
Luckys electronics in Aruba will have those devices but at probably 40% higher pricing than in a place like Best Buy here in the USA.

18 months ago i lost my camera and bought an exact duplicate at Luckys.
It was a LOT more money than the lost camera that was bought in the usa.
Stupid me.

I too bring small electronic things for residents when requested.

If you are just wanting an iPod dock for your vacation and can do without the best you can always go to walmart or bed, bath and beyond and buy a cheap one for 10 bucks....it will work well in the hotel and if you are on the beach with just one or two people you will be able to hear it...works on batteries or you can plug it in, in your hotel room.....That is what I take when we go every year, this way I don't worry about it getting lost or stolen and I can put it in my luggage....and if it gets damaged I just throw it away......
BTW...have never lostor damnaged my cheap ones (have 3)...but I blew out my good one.....
