I got some good buys there on purses/wallets - better than downtown prices - but they wouldn't haggle with me - but that was March - maybe this time of year is different - I'll have to try again in a couple of weeks when I am there!!

Flea Market
Hi,
I keep hearing about going to the flea market for shopping. If I have it right it is in downtown and only on the weekends. Am I correct in saying that? We will be taking the bus from the Marriott Resort so can someone please tell me which stop we would need and possibly the hours of the flea market? Thank again for all your help guys! The best collection of locally produced products is at the Aruban flea market. Open on the weekends and easy to find - located on L.G. Smith Boulevard - this incredible flea market boasts over 100,000 products, many of them unique to Aruba. When shopping with street vendors and flea market sellers, feel free to negotiate. Arubans are known as very friendly people and are often flexible with their prices. |

We took the bus to the bus depot downtown and walked from there. The flea market is in the area west of the water inlet (where the boats go out, I believe to Rennaissance Island?). We just wandered around the downtown area and happened upon it.
