    Grocery Near Marriott

    Hello Everyone.

I will be staying at the Marriott S and C for a few nights and need to do some light grocery shopping. From what I gather, the store at the resort is expensive. I was considering doing online shopping at L and S but the offerings are slim.

Does anyone know of a closer option than Lings and Sons for a light grocery option for snacks, bread, cold cuts, bananas, milk, beer/wine?

    Thanks for your feedback!

There are some closer supermarkets on the back roads - but in my experience, you will have a much more pleasant shopping experience at Ling. The "other" supermarkets are not as clean and don't have as much of a selection. And the cold cuts in the "other" supermarkets are questionable.

I think it is worth the cab ride to go down to Ling. It is only a 7 or 8 minute cab ride.

Kong Fui on Palm Beach rd is close to the surf club and is as large as Lings, but not as good a selection.
It may meet your needs though.

there are mixed reviews re: online shopping at lings.
there is a timeframe window of delivery and stuff that needs to be refrigerated may just sit unrefrigerated for up to 2 or 3 hrs.
    UNACCEPTABLE :-(

The Playa Linda has a new mini market they just opened on the street side. You might want to look there. They also have one inside the lobby.
