Smile Grocery Stores?

Where's the best place to grocery shop? We are going to stay at our timeshare this year and don't know the scoop on shopping in Aruba.

Thanks!

There is a whole grouping of grocery stores diagonally across from the Tamarijn/Dutch Village. We like Superfood - their pricing is a little cheaper and they have more local and european food selections. Ling & Sons (in the back of this grouping) is the newest store in that group and is more like an american supermarket. It is an IGA store like many here. Hong Kings is also located here - they have good prices on vanilla extract. I always bring some home from there.

Ling and sons delivers to timeshares. Order on line, food and liquor, and they deliver. DOn't know about the service charge, it might have changed. We ordered before we left, and met them at the desk with payment. No problems, highly recommend !

We alway's shop at Ling & Sons. There stuff is alway's fresh. I think they are the best, have shopped at Hong Kong but prefer Ling & Sons. We buy our Liquer at Duty Free before we leave or at one of the Kiosk's in Aruba Airport (sometimes they are not there).
Have a great trip.

Don't depend on Ling and son's delivery...it is hit and miss...did it once and would rather go myself and pick out our groceries. We go to all the stores depends on what our needs are. For example...my hubby craves oreos...if you go to Ling and Sons, Friday - Saturday forget it...but I found them at Hong King on Saturday. But Ling and Son's does have a fresher selection and better quantity and quality of products.

Aruba, no other place like it !
