i prefer certified
my opinion that the hon king downtown near the renaissance is pretty sketchy. i have never been in the hong king/super food on the main drag near lings. |

I'm probably one of the few that is not a Ling & Sons fan. It reminds me too much of the U.S. and the prices are higher on most things. We usually go to Kong Hing (the one between downtown and the low rise hotels) but we also like Super Foods (fun Dutch items) and Certified (Certified is more warehouse-like - we don't go there very much anymore since it seems like Kong Hing has everything we need and has a better selection of wine/champagne now.)

Ling and Sons - Holiday Schedule
Found this on the Ling and Sons website - it might come in handy for anyone in Aruba during the holiday who needs to visit the Supermarket.
Ling and Sons Hours 20, 21, 22, 23 December 2010 open from 8 AM till 9 PM. 24 December 2010 open from 8 AM till 4 PM. 25 & 26 December CLOSED 27, 28, 29 December 2010 open from 8 AM till 9 PM. 30 December 2010 open from 8 AM till 8 PM ...Fireworks show with live music starting 8 PM 31 December 2010 open from 8 AM till 3 PM. 1 & 2 January 2011 CLOSED Monday 3 January 2011 open from 8 AM till 8 PM
