    Ling and sons

Hello, cant wait to land back "home" nex thursday..... I was wondering if anyone has done Ling and Sons shopping on line. I went on their website and there werent many choices. Am I missing something? I would like to have the groceries delivered instead of making a trip there first thing Friday morning... thanks

    Lings Grocery Delivery?
click above link for a thread about Lings/delivery

husband and i debated it once and decided that we would not chance it with items that need refrigeration.

your resort/timeshare cannot guarantee that refrigerated items will be placed in refrigerator.

I agree with Andrea --- who knows how long they will leave out your milk, meat, etc. The cost of the trip to the supermarket is negligible and the selection is much greater. You can go over to Ling on a weekday morning at 8am and be back at your hotel by 9:15am.

Super Food is even closer - but the selection of "American" foods is smaller.

    Have done it
bagged items, soda, cereals, water, all safe.
However the produce delivered wasnt great.
the windiw time of delivery was helpful so we were around lobby waiting.

I hear ling and sons is one of the best supermarkets in Aruba. Last year we made the mistake at shopping at a small over prices chinese market. I can't remember the name of it but later in the week we found out we overpaid for everything and one of the locals told us to go to ling and sons next time we were in Aruba.
