Strange question, do they sell fifths or pints of liquor in Lings? I plan on cooking one or two nights using Brandy or Cognac. Should I just plan on bringing it from home? Don't drink the stuff just cook with it and would be a waste to buy a big bottle.

For the small quantities you need for cooking, it probably pays to bring a small bottle from home.
Buy a big bottle at the duty free and invite a few of us over for a night cap. Ha ha ha. Actually, I always buy a brandy at the duty free and use it for a night cap on my stay. I think I paid $48 for a nice bottle of courvosier VSOP liter. Good stuff!!!
Bring from home I will. Ace if I knew you would be there I would buy the big bottle, you and Rich would enjoy it. First time I made this recipe he almost killed me I used a cup of his good stuff. I'll save the duty free for the Di Saronno.
