We walked around there on Sunday. Not too many stores are open.
Many are 'coming soon'. Most stores are 'upper scale'. Saw a lot of store names that are from town. I hope they are not closing down in town to move there. Would be another 'blow' to downtown. There will be paid parking eventually there too which will add to the parking problem in the area. Big movie theater w/ 8 screens will be opening there. Also looks like another bowling alley will be there too.

Do you mean the Palm Beach Plaza mall? www.palmbeachplaza.com .It is located behind Paseo Herencia mall. The mall officially opened a month ago Yes, it is open but not many stores are not in yet. Every day more stores are opening. The mall is really nice: I like it much better than Paseo Herencia.

i thought the new mall was going to be exclusive to high end luxury stores as to preserve the mom & pop shops in downtown and not compete directly with the other mall that opened up a year or two ago? if they're allowing regular shops to open up in the newest mall, then it's quite a flawed development policy by the govt. why would you allow a new mall to cannibalize the existing one? what would happen to the old mall then?
