There doesn't appear to be many places anymore where you can get a dinner entree for $15-$18.

I love good food, and I'm certainly willing to pay for it during our week there - which we certainly do. However, it does get to a point where for 2 or 3 nights out of the week, we settle for something cheap and light, and I thoroughly enjoy it. Pizza and a salad is usually what we do when we just don't want to go all out for a big, expensive and overly filling meal.

Liz, thank you for the menu! I don't know where you get all the things you do but they are great!!

Any comments from anyone who has eaten there?

NOW I am really confused ...I thought the place across from Playa Linda was where Amici's opened like at least 4 years ago. Did they tear down Amici's and start all over again.

I thought Amici's was across from The Playa Linda also... I do remember the vacant lot across from the Holiday Inn when we were there a few years ago so it didn't surprise me when it was said that it opened across from there.. guess Ill find out in a little over a week.....

The mall is big - and long. It is across from Holiday Inn and Playa Linda. It goes down the road a bit, then wraps around the curve ending in the parking garage. Quite a few places were open the first week in October. Not my kind of place, but it was interesting enough for a quick walk-around. A TGI Friday's is opening there. We'll steer clear.

Amicis, TexasdeBrazil, etc., are all intact. Nothing has been torn down.
