Wink Question about bringing Rum or buying it there?

We are so excited to be returning to our fav island on July 26 for the 2ond time this yr. In the past we packed our rum in our suitacse. With the limited baggage situation on planes now (were paying $15.00 for each for our first bag that is under 50 lbs!) I was wondering if I should get it at the airport to keep the weight down? We are leaving out of Phila. Anyone with suggestions???? I would really appreciate it!!! Thank you.

    What are tags?
Tags are a useful way to search for threads with similar subject matter and content. This complements the normal search system, which searches only for certain words or phrases and/or posts by specific users.

To use tags, you add words or phrases to threads to help describe the content. For instance, if the subject matter is 'photography' then you can add the tag 'photography' to the tag list. But you could also add tags like 'digital image', and 'camera' (depending, of course, on the nature of the thread).

This will categorize this thread with all other threads that have matching tags, whether or not they have the word 'photography' in them.

    Who adds the tags?
Tags are initially added to threads by the user who started the thread. Other users may also be able to add and remove tags.

    How do I use tags?
Tags are displayed in a box near the bottom of a thread page. Clicking on a tag will allow you to view other threads that have the same tag - and which may be related. Clicking on the word 'Tags' in the top of the box will take you to an overview page with a 'tag cloud.'

This cloud allows you to see which tags are the most popular - the larger the word, the more times it has been used on threads within the board. There is also another tag cloud on the advanced search page that shows you the tags that have been searched for (or clicked on) the most."

The Happy Taste changed to the Arubian Taste and has moved from the Palmera Rum Factory. If you travel North (away from downtown) on the same street you'll find the Arubian Taste in the Orange Plaza Mall. It's a mini mall across the street from the back of the Divi Golf Course. Their website is http://www.buyarubarum.com Marcia and Jerome are great hosts and they let you sample all of their rums and liquors. My wife and I stop there every year at the beginning of our stay and stock up for the week. Liquor is expensive in Aruba but you'll save money buying local rum and making your own drinks over the prices the resorts charge. The also have liquor mixes for the fancy resort drinks like the arubariba and many others. You just add juice and its ready to drink.

the Arubian Taste also has a new facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/ArubianTaste-1398947490381171/
