Jewelry

My friends and I will soon be making our 5th trip to Aruba. The first two years we bought at Noble's Jewelry. Very pleasant people, but a bit pricey. While walking along a back street, we discovered Larry's Fine Jewelry. Not only was the jewelry more in line with our tastes, but the prices were much cheaper. Larry and his family are extremely trustworthy and accomodating. They will knock themselves out to please their customers. We can't wait to go back!

Bad experience with Noble

Hey, I wouldn't buy anything from Noble. I bought a ring there two years ago when we were there. The day we were leaving Aruba, lost a ruby out of it. My husband took it down and they "repaired" it. Not so much! Got home, the same night, stone was gone again! Sent it out, my friends parents were there so they picked it up for me and brought it back. Again, stone fell out! I sent it back and got my money back. Also, they were very sneaky saying they never go it back through the mail the final time, however, I had it insured so I know they got it!
Just a heads up!

I have bought for years at Kay's. Had the items appraised at home and I paid what they were worth. I have picked up some very pretty semi precious stone pieces. I have dealt with Joe for years.
It seems that Kay's is the name that keeps coming up.

re: kays

my mom died a few years ago
she had always promised to give me her wedding band
she had also promised to give my niece her wedding band

neither of us were unwilling to yield to the other

during a trip into kays i gave andy the wedding band
it was a plain platinum band with engraving on the inside

andy had an exact duplicate made both rings sized 6.75
when i went to pick it up, it was undecipherable which was which.

he only charged me $75

i told my niece what i had done
put both rings in a hat, she drew first

each of us now are wearing mom's ring......or so we think

Its on the main drag set back, and has a parking lot in front of it. I would say its directly across the street from The Paddock, but i'm thinking its more across the street from the huts....Make sence?

its in the back of the parking lot between the Tommy Hilfiger store and the Crystal Casino. If you see JOE, tell him Randi sent you! Joe is one of the owners, he is very nice.
