Renaissance Mall video

The Renaissance Mall video is now up for you shoppers. Keep an eye on your budget in this place.

Tomorrow should be a video overview of Old Man and The Sea restaurant.

Bon dia!

CindyO,

Don't tell my editor I'm out and about knocking around with a video camera. It's a fun hobby, plus the technology is easy to use so there's not a steep learning curve.

Anyway, been writing enough to drain the ink well several times.

Must say, however that the video of Old Man for tomorrow is coming along. It gives a better perspective on how nicely spaced the tables are and the setting, things I couldn't get with my cheap digital still camera. But that's for maņana. And if Mrs. 44 is in a good humor, we'll dine there soon, going early enough to have decent light to video the food, which is something I'm sure people would like to see.

Bon dia!

I love your videos and am looking forward to the Old Man and the Sea restaurant so I can show my husband where we could enjoy a dinner to celebrate 23 yrs. of wedded bliss.

Rob O,

Sure, post your request and I'd be happy to go grab some video. Sorry, nothing underwater, but other than that I'll get to it.

HMoonlight,

Old Man and Sea is now up. This place is romantic (Mrs. 44 likes it, anyway) and like I mentioned elsewhere there is much more space and many fewer tables so you feel more comfortable.

"44"

CindyO and I would love to see Buccaneer and Matthew's, which are on her list of things to do next visit. We're always interested in seeing any updates or changes to the Renaissance Suites and to Oranjestad.

Thank you!

RobO,

Okay. Give me some time. I'll get out there and get some footage. If you don't see it in a week or so, remind me with a PM.

Thanks for the suggestions and see you here or there soon.

44, any word on Club Arias? http://www.aruba.com/forum/f22/savanetas-first-boutique-hotel-32850/#post117772

It should be in or close to your neighborhood no?

Arubalisa,

Club Arias is just around the corner from my shack. I'll check it out. I think it is open. I ran into the guy who was building the swimming pool over the summer and he said things were just about finished. Let me check it out and I'll report back.
