    Cool Super Foods

I'm not sure if this was addressed and for the life of me I can't remember. Does Super Foods sell Liquor? I know Lings sells liquor and beer but I can't remember if Super Foods sells liquor, too. I think they sell beer. Anyone know off hand?

    next week, can't wait....

Lings is open until 6:00 on Sunday. Super Food closes at 2:00 on Sunday. There is a separate liquor store at Super Food that sells higher-end wines and spirits. The grocery store section sells beer and lower priced wines.

thanks everyone. Maybe we'll get the tequila at the airport in aruba, I'm sure it will be cheaper. this year we arrive on a friday so we're good with the supermarket. we'll stop at the townhouse, drop everything off and then go food shopping. i also have to stop at the Mio store by superfoods to get my device and i see they are open until 8 on fridays but we should be there by 3:30 or so.

andrea, you & paul have a safe trip home....

Gaby - the tequila selection at AUA is typically very weak. Last time we were there they only had one Tequila (don't remember brand) and it was very expensive. You would be better off buying the bottle at your home airport and flying it into Aruba. I guess it depends on your tastes in Tequila -- a bottle of Cuervo Gold at Ling's or Super Food is expensive but not ridiculous.

thanks, shynda, that's what we were afraid of. we just want to make frozen margaritas for the beach. I think we'll stick with cuervo gold for that. maybe we'll get it at the airport in newark and if not, just wait till we go to superfoods. it is vacation so who cares, lol. but we'll check out newark airport & see their selection. thanks for the heads up. i think they definitely have patron at AUA and that IS very expensive. but i don't want to use that for frozen margaritas, its a waste of a good tequila.

They (AUA) had Patron Silver and Gold, Don Julio Blue, 1800 and Jose Cuervo when we were in the arrivals duty free two weeks ago.
