do they sell liquor in the food stores or do you have to go to a store that only sells wine and liquor..

Yep, you can buy it in all supermarkets as well as a few speciality shops.

Liquor & beer is sold in all supermarkets and mini-markets.

The larger supermarkets have a good selection and the best on-island prices. Ling has regular as well as flavored vodka.

We did buy at Duty Free in Boston. A liter of Absolute was $16, the same bottle in Aruba supermarkets was $27.
