Walmart/Target equivalent?

Are there any stores in Aruba that are Walmart/Target equivalent? Or are most non-food itmes available at the big supermarkets? We're not looking for electronics - perhaps a grill, plastic cups/plates, towels, coolers, candles, flip flops, cheap fishing pole, plastic pool-side chairs, frisbee, volleyball, etc. (basically random items that can be found in US Target stores).

To answer my own question.. I see that there is a PriceSmart. Are there any other stores that are Rite-Aid/CVS/Walgreens/Eckerd equivalent?

No. But I am thinking you will find at least 80% of the things you listed in one of the major supermarkets.

some of my aruban friends that come to the USA to go shopping are in "awe" with places like the super walmarts, super targets and C VS and Walgreens.

in aruba, if they want to buy food they go to the grocery store
if they want to buy a can on wd40 or something of that sort they go to the hardware store
if they want a bottle of motrin they have to go to the botica aka pharmacy.

the conveniences we have of 1 stop shopping here in the usa are envied by many.

Ah...but I was shocked to see foot long hot dogs!!!

We cannot even get them here in North Georgia

Thanks for your answers!! This site is a lifesaver. Seriously, cannot wait to go to Aruba. Visiting in January, wedding in May! Time is crawling by so slowly.

Try Certified - behind the produce area through some doors - you will find everything you can think of - it's the closest I have found to a Walmart/Target!!

we are sooooooooo spoiled !!!!!

But to answer the question...The certified grocery store has all kinds of that stuff....we go there for the plastics and coolers...cheaper than ling and sons...
