1 van or 2 cars???

First trip to Aruba coming up in 3 weeks! We are taking our 5 kids (ages 18- 5). I'm starting to think we should rent a vehicle for the entire week vs just for a couple of days. I know it would be cheaper to rent 2 smaller cars instead of a mini-van, but would that be the best way to go? I'm wondering because some of the posts talk about needed 4x4 to get to places. Also, I really could use a recommendation on car rental company. All the conflicting posts are confusing. Any advice would be great. Thanks!

amigo has a good reputation for car and van rentals.

the need for a 4x4 is really only necessary if you plan on going off roading towards the area of the natural pool.
if you have plans to stay on paved or dirt roads, you are in no need of a 4x4

We have rented 7 passengers SUV's from Amigo in the past. They have an airport location. http://www.amigocar.com/
