Ok I have 2 options.
I already booked with Optima for a Yaris (new one) for 5 days and a jeep for 2 days, Total price with tax is $305. I then saw someone say they got a jeep from Royal for the whole week and it was $270. I rented with Royal last year and the jeep was just ehhh. No big deal though.
Anyways, I got quoted a price from Royal for $284 with taxes for this year. So now I cant decide what to do..........Should I get the nicer Yaris and jeep for $305 or should I get the less nice jeep for the week for cheaper at 285. My husband said jeep b/c he thinks it would be more fun to have it for the whole week. But Im not sure, anyone else have an opinion.

We always rent a jeep for the entire week, you never know when you might want to go to the natural pool or just explore some of the rougher back roads. We will be there next week and rented one of the new 4 door Jeep Wranglers from More for Less Rental, we have rented from them for around 5 years now and they have always been great!!

Thats a good point about the jeep so maybe we will just get it for the week. I rented from More for Less on my honeymoon 2 years ago. We liked them but I was trying to stay around 300 for the week and they are closer to 400 for the week.

HMM, I rented a Jeep for just 2 days and the total was 180. Does it make sense to rent it for 5 days...what rental companies are you looking at?

Royal car rental is $284 with taxes for 7 days.

"We can offer you the jeep Wrangler paying
US$ 276,- cash or US$ 290,- by credit card for the week.
There will be a 3% sales tax added on to the final bill ( only fees and
taxes)."

Do you allow jeep to be driven to Natural Pool? Some rental agency's do not.

Rented a jeep for whole week, it was a pos but that was fine because there was nothing we could do to damage it. I drive a convertable when the weather

is nice so it was great to be able to do so in Aruba!

I have no clue how many miles we put on it, but I did spend $90 on gas

compared with our last trip when we had a daihatsu(sp?) terios, $30.

My advice: get the jeep for the week and enjoy it

Try calling More for less and tell them your budget and they may work with you. I think they are brothers or family so I would assume they may be for flexible. Like it is in the US, everything is negoitable. I have heard the tourists have started to thin out so I am sure it is getting pretty competitive.
