Any car rentals include GPS?

Or should we bring out own? One less thing to carry.

No, they do not. The large well known car rental agencies in Aruba: Hertz, Budget, Avis are franchises and not corporate owned.

Aruba is not exactly "on the map" so to speak. If you have a garmin, there is a report of a recent experience at
Garmin GPS

Otherwise, from our experience, lugging our own GPS, it was not worth it. You just go around in circles. Also keep in mind though that there really are only a few main roads on the island. 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7...
Our next trip, with the Garmin info listed in the link above, we will probably give it one more shot with our Garmin.

A good map like the Borch Map will get you where you have to go.

The thing I have found personally unnerving are all of the errors and duplications on Google Maps. I have attached only two examples, there are many.

The first one I have attached is the "Aruban Resort" located in the middle of the Bubali Bird Sanctuary and the second attachment is all of the duplications of the Radisson.

The maps are moderated by people all over the world unfamiliar with the location. You can suggest changes, but the moderators are very loath to make them. I have given up and stick with wikimapia but I do not believe is available on android..

Aruba is fairly easy to Navigate. Only managed to get lost once on our second trip... and all you really need to do is drive until you hit the water and you will find your way. You can never be too far off route.

Just remember to not drive off the island... it voids the rental warranty :P
Agree with Shnyda fairly easy..we did get lost a couple of times (first trip) but managed to always find our way back to our watering hole at the Tam!!
The Borch Map is awesome (bought mine at Amzaon) I could have sold it three or four times while there.
