I can't answer your question except to say get an email confirmation
for your rental. Also consider getting Amex car coverage for around
$50 which covers if your car is stolen - worth every penny of it.

You also might contact Avis nationally headquarter website to
verify this is a legit site/offer.

Premium Car Rental Protection
https://www152.americanexpress.com/f...b6d369f7bf4a2a

You must sign up in advance

"There is no cost to enroll in Premium Car Rental Protection, and there are no monthly, annual, or cancellation fees. The Cardmember pays a flat fee of $19.95 or $24.95 per rental ($17.95 for California Residents) each time a rental car is charged to his or her enrolled American Express Card, until coverage is terminated. The flat rate covers the duration of the rental, for up to 42 consecutive days (up to 30 consecutive days for Washington Cardmembers)."

This is not a scam. I just rented after reading this forum for a total of ten (10) days for $61.25 US dollars. After I printed the confirmation, I called their toll free phone number and gave them my conformation number just to confirm the price. According to Avis - I am locked into that rate!!!

This is a great deal! Jump on this rate now before they discover the mistake. I am even picking up the vehicle directly at the airport.

The GRAND TOTAL with taxes and surcharges is $135.45 for ten days.

Thank you Ladyg2u for the information

It now seems that Avis has fixed the bug within their system. Their prices are now back to normal. I am glad that I got the reservation before the mistake was found.
