When I first tried earlier around 7 pm, my first set of dates came up full price. I put in a day later for 7 nights instead of 8 and it came up with a $35 compact or $57.50 mini-van.

FWIW, I have only seen those two rates for compact or mini-van. <<-- nothing in between...

After we booked I walked away from the computer and dh adjusted the reservation and picked up an additional 3 days.

entered our dates jan 21 - feb 4 and the prices were higher (but of course hahaha)

will stick with our reservation with hans (tropic) for $350 for the 2 weeks.

Okay here is another quirk...

I just put in our "sale" dates for Paseo Harencia pick up and came up with the cheapest vehicle $140+ tax, no bargain.

I went back and modified it for pick up at their main office Oranjestad (Schotlandstraat) and voilà, the $35 compact or $57.50 mini-van prices both came up.

It is actually working again. My co-worker just rented a mini van for next month (for the music festival). His price was $102.00 for the week which includes all taxes.

where do you pick up a vehicle that states location general aviation sounds like the airport but it is a far walk not sure becuase the cars on the airport lot are being rented out at the regular rate.

Just booked the same deal. But tried to book 2 cars and it would not allow. It seems all deals done for may 31 to june 7.

Play with the location as arubalisa stated earlier. I booked 2 vehicles but need to cancle one just not sure where general aviation is? My dates are 29may to 5 june. 43 more days.

It will be their location at the airport. I am not sure if you have been to the island previously. When you walk outside the front door of the airport terminal you will walk across a 2 small roadways and there are a line of offices directly in front of you.
