I just booked for December and Feb of next year. Went to the regular Avis website and the good rate is only for the Oranjestad location. Called the 800 number and they said that since I have a confirmation then that is the rate!

ok, just tried it twice and the first time a gran vitara was priced at 44.00 for a week...then when I got to the last page it kept coming up invalid user id number...so I went into Avis' main website and got a wizard id number thinking that is what they wanted and tried again. this time the price was 144...still great, but once again the same crap keeps coming up...anyone know what is the deal ???

A few days ago I rented for 3 weeks (Feb. - Mar.) for a total of 22 days for $245! Received my confirmation and also called Avis to confirm the price. What a great deal! Yes, Oranjestad location - airport location is alot more.

I just tried again and for two weeks in October t will be over $600,am I doing something wrong? My dates are 10/17/09-10/31/09,can someone try these dates and see what you get.

dannyo, just got a great deal...minivan for 18 days for 288....but getting it on mon morn and returning fri afternoon...renting from the place Andrea suggested...by Ling and sons.

I am picking my rental up at the airport. It was only a few dollors more than Schotlandstraat. The only difference in price was the airport pick-up fee and in my case, that was an extra 11% of my rental price of $61.25 for ten days.

The difference in the price will pay for the cab ride that you must take from the airport to the Schotlandstraat.
