Best road to Baby Beach

I've been to Baby Beach a few times over the years, each time driving thru the center of Oranjesstad... Since I am at the Marriott Surf Club can anyone advise me whether it's a shorter drive by going thru the road that goes to Noord and then to Paradera following to Balashi and bypassing center of town and the Airport?

hubby and i drive that "back way" on weekdays.
on weekend mornings i go right thru downtown O'stad.
during carnival season i avoid the traffic downtown too.

we'll definitely be going on a weekday so we'll try the back way this time... I figured it might not be the shorter ride but should be the fastest, correct?

Do not know if the drive is shorter, but it certainly will cause you less stress than going thru town....especially if a cruise ship is in...
We usually drive thru town on way out(early) and thru Paradera on the way back which is usually around 4-5 when everyone is trying to get home...even going the back way then can be long and frustrating....
