Which is the BEST way during Carnival parade?

We will arrived on Feb 14 ,2010 and that will be the big parade de Carnaval where everything is close .I know we can get around they Island to go Marriott Surf Club anyone know .

if you will be taking a taxi, the taxi driver will be able to move you no sweat....may not be a direct route, but you will get there nonetheless!

if you are renting a car, make sure that you ask for a map.
the route that you will take will take you across the island a bit heading away from town and then a northerly turn running now thru the paradera section.

hard for me to explain, the car rental place will give you a map AND directions.
the little switzerland bag will have the aruba experience magazine and in it comes a handy dandy little road map which is excellent!

no way, no how would i want to be caught up in the parade route.

ideally, take a taxi to marriott surf. if you have a car rental, get the map and directions. we had to take the back way, inconvenient route in 2004 after hurricane Ivan did his thing and there was no convenient way from airport to lacabana.

Just follow a taxi ...... do not follow a car that the license plate start with a letter V they are lost ......hahaha
