By the law a Taxi can transport NO more than 5 passengers, it applies to all Taxi's regardless of vehicle size.
If an accident happens and the driver has taken more pass. than required by the law the insurance won't cover and this will certainly give us a bad name. Despite this SOME drivers (especially the big vans)still are breaking the law and risking our reputacion. I've personally reported many of them, the last one I've reported is a driver driving a big white van who dropped off 7 pass( spanish speaking guests) at the Hyatt some time ago. Pls do not cooperate with this infraction it's not worth it, don't put yourself and your loved ones safety in jeopardy. i hope this info was usefull to you
