car rental vs. bus

This coming Saturday will be my fifth trip. I always take the bus. The bus can be a pain coming back from the highrises. I have waited over an hour at a bus stop at night then you see 2 or 3 buses at once. Is parking a major issue in the area of the high rises if I got a car?

Not if you know where it is. There is plenty of parking around Gianni's and Chino Latino - also behind the Hard Rock where Buster's Garage is. If you're going to be in Playa Linda for dinner you get a coin, Texas de it's a dollar, Herencia mall is a small fee. Arawak garden has parking behind its restaurants but they want you to be eating there (guard will ask you where are going). I always suggest you go and scope it out during the day so you will know where you're going at night.
