Has anyone a preference---Hertz at Divi or Toyota at Casa del Mar

Had never heard of a Toyota rental car agency

Toyota is one of the more professional Aruba car rental companies. I have used them twice with no issues.

We have used Hertz and they were okay.

We have most recently been using Amigo and continue to do so because we have been very happy with them.

They pick you up in the vehicle at your resort and take you back to their office to complete the paperwork and you are on your way. For drop off you just do it opposite, driving to the office, complete the paperwork and then they deliver you back to your resort.

Hertz was the most expensive company I've used on the island, but they also had the highest quality vehicle. Amigo has always been good to me as well, though sometimes the vehicles were a less than ideal.

hans at troic is great. they meet you at the terminal and you walk to the parking lot and get your car. they even washed ours when we we there in jan/feb. prices are competitive

have used amigo also and have never had a problem...I agree with Chadd in that sometimes the vehicles were not in the greatest of shape but since it usually was a jeep and we used it for off roading I never really cared....

I would like to rent with Hans at Tropic for late April 2011. I emailed them on 10/11, but no response yet.

we rented from hans for december. he did respond right away, the same day. i would try again, sometimes emails are down.
