economical car rental rates.
who has the best car rental rates for the week. We are looking for an economy size with toddler seat, 2nd week march. Would a car be necessary or can we get by with a rental only when needed. I personally hate depending on a bus or taxis as modes of transportation.

You really are just going to have to shop around. Availability at this date, may also be an issue. There is a list of rental agencies at:
http://www.aruba.com/whattodo/rentalcars.php We have used Royal Car Rental in the past and they are offering a 15% discount in March.

Be sure to check out any car before leaving the rental office. Last year we were told that we would have to pay for hub caps that were stolen while we had the car. However, they were not on the car when we picked it up. After several minutes of "discussing" it at the rental office we did not have to pay. If they decided I was responsible, I would have disputed it with my charge card company.
