If you are looking for t-shirts and little nick nacks, I would just shop in the little stores that are right by the Rennisance. They are open everyday for the cruise boats and they have about the same items.

Another suggestion if you are on the all inclusive plan at the Divi Dutch is to take one of the bicycles and ride there. Though it is going to be every bit as hot.

Not nearly as far as walking from downtown though.
