hertz at the divi golf

just got back from a week in aruba and we rented from hertz at our hotel. not the cheapest but hubby left it till the last minute as always...lol

i have to say that the car we got was brand new and we had not a glitch with them. i am sure we could have gotten a cheaper car but hubby didn't have the time before we went to do it all. so we paid more but had a good experience with them.

it is always great to save a buck or two or ten.

that being said, sometimes it is just as important to deal with last minute stuff like getting the car rental once you get to aruba.

and for this trip that you were on, convenient was important.

glad that u got a good vehicle.

We stay there and rented a Yaris last year from the Hertz counter. It was in great shape, but the license plate number was 666 so the Mrs asked me to replace it. I thought it was pretty funny. There are definitely better rates though if you look around.

We treated my sister and brother-in-law to a trip to Aruba about 4 years ago. The room assigned to them at the Marriott resort was 666 - I went and asked for another room. Couldn't let them stay in that room!!!

i know it wasnt a deal....but just so everyone knows the hertz guy did bargain with hubby and he got a better price than was advertised for our car...but still not a bargain in my book. he was quick, efficient and very curtious. car was clean and new and we had no problems with the car.
