My husband and I rented from Economy I believe in August 2007 and the jeep was kinda crappy and full of ants. This past January we rented from Budget, cost us a little more because it was a last minute booking, but the quality was much better.

Best of luck and enjoy your trip!

We rented from Budget and had no problems whatsoever. That little jeep took us offroad and all around.

American/Optima are good. Sometimes the jeeps are a little worn but they work just fine especially if you want to do some 4-wheeling yourself!!

I rented one from Budget and found the one and only person on that island who is a complete . The girl who runs the little hut rental stand across fromt he Hyatt was completely rude and out of line for no appearant reason. So much so that I almost threw her the keys and went elsewhere with my business, but it was the only unrented jeep I could find.

Have rented from many over the years...recently rented from American..jeeps are 275 per week and have never had a problem...that is who we are renting from again this year...they seem to be offereing the best deal for the price...especially since it is a wrangler with a little more room than a jimny or tracker...

Have rented from Amigo in the past, they used to be reasonable although it was little jimnys..now they are more expensive and you can get a bigger wrangler from American...

ArubaRoyal has always been good to us...we had a problem with a jeep once and I called and the gentleman took it out for a test drive, brought back another one and it ran fine the rest of the trip...so I would recommend them also...

Very curious about this too... who seems to have the newer models?

I want to minimize the chances of getting a flat as much as possible... we plan on taking it to the natural pool....
