Has anyone rented from National Rental Car. I know that everyone recomends Tropic, but they are all sold out. National seems to be cheaper than Amigo and Optima. Any input would be great!

i guess no one has used national. What about Amigo vs. optima

We have used Amigo with no problems and a friend uses Optima twice a year with no problems.

Both Amigo and Optima are fine.

We used National a few years back & it was not good. This was in 2005, so things may have changed.

I have used national many times with no problem, you pick up your car at the airport.

I am renting from National next week July 11 - July 19th. The price was right. I'll let you know how we make out. When is your trip?

I got back yesterday from an 8 day stay. I rented from National $226 (BJ Wholesale member discount) for 8 days. I picked up the car and dropped it off at the airport. A breeze both ways. The car was fine and the agents were very nice. I would recommend National.
