Do you have to go IN to the park or is there another way?

Not sure about the question, but you can get there by hiking, atv, horseback, 4 x 4 or tour.
Tours include park admission in the price, hiking or driving yourself you have to pay the admission price.

There is another way but you need to be a local to avoid problems...
I know I went without paying the park fee via another road with Maddy on a private tour...

Do you happen to know about where this road is?
What do you mean about avoiding problems if you are a local, what problems?

    there could be problems.
if you rent a jeep or jeep like vehicle and it gets damaged or wrecked out there……..big financial headaches.
apparently the jeep rental companies have on their fine print that off roading damage will not be covered by any insurance

i always recommend an organized tour.

If you cross park rangers they will ask you to go via the park official entrance and pay the entrance fees, plus like Andrea said it is a very rough road by the other side should you get wrecked out there you are in for a big financial headache or even worst if your jeep let you down you will be stranded alone in a very hot environment. I know where is the other road is but it would not be wise to take it... sorry...

The Natural Pool is inside Arikok National Park.
There are two ways in that I've used. The first is from the Northwest by Daimari and takes you along the coast.
The second approach is more from the South and take you up over rough terrain.
The approach from Daimari gets you closer to the pool.
