CDW= collision damage waiver so I would imagine it would only cover accidents. I would read the fine print for the individual rental company.

Credit card companies which offer coverage have differing terms as well, so again, need to read the fine print.

you can get the LDW (loss damage waiver) - wouldn't that cover theft? you just have to pony up the $500 deductible?

here's amigo car's policy with CDW + LDW:

Yes it cover theft and accident, no one way accident or driving in the ocean. Deductible is US $500.00 if you are the one to blame.

Try More 4 Less car rental. Great cars, great prices, and great service. We, and several other friends of ours, rented from them for our entire 5 week stays-no problems at all and great Honda Fit cars. American Express card has a great coverage plan for only around $24.00 it is great to have and covers sooo much.

Have heard great things about the Amex plan plus you 100%
know what coverage you have!

https://www152.americanexpress.com/p...e358ebbf20f#01

if that doesn't work go to amex -- premium car rental insurance
under either the FAQs or other tab - it is international and covers
everything.

With all the lingo on these car rental contracts - I would go with
Amex....

Just mistrust legal documents!!!

i believe they have 2 locations - airport and on LG Smith Blvd (near super foods???).

airport pickup/drop offs is another 10% charge (that's the same for all rental car companies).
