pierre apparently that taxi website is no longer available.

I am glad to hear that a new list came out. Now we all have something to go by. I do believe the rate increase ( sorry to say this) was long overdue.

I went to these sites,
Aruba Taxi Fare Increase Effective Sept. 1, 2009 Taxi Fares Airport to Hotels Taxi Fares Hotels to Places of Interest Aruba Taxi Condition on Taxi Tariffs and can not find the new rates,what am I doing wrong. |

these new rates have been on the ready for months now.
apparently the government sets the rates and i assume that there are taxi drivers/owners involved too in the setting of the rates. from what i understand, there had been no rate increase in years. so, with the government's approval/endorsement the rates were set. i do though want to hear from serry or bully and maybe one of them can explain the procedure better. andrea Quote:

Hi Andrea J. this is the new taxi price list with the official rates, it is confirm and sign by our minister of tourist. The same day I receive mine new price list from D.O.P.V. department of transportation I did sent Lisa a copy so she can keep giving every body that comes to Aruba the right information.
