pierre apparently that taxi website is no longer available.

so here it is sept 1 and the fares are now in effect.

The website was that of a taxi association, not an "official" entity.

I am glad to hear that a new list came out. Now we all have something to go by. I do believe the rate increase ( sorry to say this) was long overdue.

these new rates have been on the ready for months now.

apparently the government sets the rates and i assume that there are taxi drivers/owners involved too in the setting of the rates.

from what i understand, there had been no rate increase in years.

so, with the government's approval/endorsement the rates were set.

i do though want to hear from serry or bully and maybe one of them can explain the procedure better.

Hi Andrea J. this is the new taxi price list with the official rates, it is confirm and sign by our minister of tourist. The same day I receive mine new price list from D.O.P.V. department of transportation I did sent Lisa a copy so she can keep giving every body that comes to Aruba the right information.
