    New Traffic Pattern

We went on The Black Pearl, then to Local Store tonight. We noticed orange barriers and barrels headed toward Oranjestad on LG Smith while driving to Local Store. Coming home, we saw that the road was open, but one lane was closed. As we proceed toward home, the left lane was closed, then the lane crosses over the median on a newly paved crossover and continues to be one lane head downtown. The traffic headed toward the high rise area is also one lane and the lanes are next to each other. In other words, traffic going in both directions are on the same side of the median, with only one lane going in each direction. The traffic light is inactive at Super Foods. This continues to the roundabout by Oceania/Taco Bell. There was a guy still working on putting out some traffic control items(maybe cones). I guess they decided to work on one side of the new roundabout at a time to elevate the huge traffic issues that happened last week.

How about the traffic on Schotlandstraat? we would take that road to get from Superfoods to Divi.

The only roads that are closed are the ones that go from Irausquian to Smith between where the Mill is to the circle.

Last night we had dinner with friends who live here. One of them is a manager of one of the resorts and he attended the meeting about Watty Vos. He said that once the new circle is done at Super Foods, they will close Irausquin for about 12 weeks to do the work(I didn't think ask if they closing sections at a time or the whole road). The road will be two lanes, next to each other. The lane currently closest to the beach with be the new walking/biking paths. The whole Watty Vos project should be done sometime in 2020.

Actually Walt we do have to travel with the general public every now and then to get gas, food and booze. If only Boca Prins sold gas....
