yes, royal plaza houses "iguana joe, little switzerland", to name a few.

seaport marketplace is across the street including movie theater, many shops and restaurants and the seaport casino.

Yes Royal Plaza Mall is the pink/teal mall with Iguana Joe's. Ren Marketplace is where the movie theater, Seaport Casino, Convention center are.

ETA: Apparently got side tracked at the office and delayed posting for a few minutes!

    Translation:
    1. When parking take note of the number of your parking space.
    2. Press green check mark to start
    3. Choose your language and press green check mark to continue
    4. Enter your parking space number and press green check mark to continue
    5. When using cash: Use exact change. Florins 2 ($1.20 US) PER HOUR. Minimum payment 1 hour. Machine accepts local and U.S. coins. When using a Smart Card: Choose how long you will park and place your card on the scanner until it beeps.
    6. Wait for your ticket. The ticket number can be used to add more time to your parking space.

You have a 15 minute grace period to add more time to your parking space.

    Thanks for translating!

I wonder: does the ticket has to be placed inside the parked vehicle, visible behind the windshield?

If so, how does it work to extend the parking time at any other parking machine? If someone decides, to add another hour. Does it mean to actually walk then back to the parked vehicle to place the new ticket in there? Or is there no new ticket and the added time shows electronically on the exiting ticket? How does the parking guard then know, not to put a "boot" on the vehicle?

    Just wondering how it works.

You take the ticket with you. You do not have to walk back to the parking station that you originally used. You can add extra time at any parking station. I assume the extra time is electronically registered so the guard would know extra time was added. If you think you will be shopping/dining for more than 1 hour, you can pay upfront for more than 1 hour.

Around here you just get a ticket. There you get booted & towed. If I decide to go downtown, which I doubt but if I was going to be an hour, I'd pay for three, lol.. How come the one by seaport is 7 to 7 and the one by Royal Plaza is 7 to 11? Do you think the Crystal & Seaport Casinos said hey, people won't come? Just weird the time difference in that close proximity

    Thanks, again!

That's interesting that you can take your ticket with you. For sure, it makes it easier to add time and not have to walk all the way back to your parked vehicle.

The ones down the shore are similar. You can use any machine, enter your space number, use cash or credit card, etc. BUT you have to put the ticket in the windshield, visible to parking officials or police or whomever. If you want to add time you need to have the ticket number. This past Saturday, instead of going all the way to the other side of town to get the ticket I just added money at a different machine. Lost a half hour of parking time, but worth it to not go all the way back to the car. Next time I will be smart & take a pic of the ticket on my cell phone

Is this in your hometown, Jacki?

Aruba does not accept credit cards which would make the whole process so much easier. They only accept their smartcard which has to be purchased at their office in Wilhelminastraat 13. Maybe some stores and restaurants will sell those smartcards later on, too, that would be helpful.
