    And don't be scared to rent at least you have Amex no UK cards cover insurance for you so we had to take out royals policy.

    DON'T USE RUBARENT!! We had a similar experience with a blown tire and they charged us a whopping $649 for the tire and the wheel for an obviously bad and cracked tire...as a matter of fact ALL of the tires had cracks in them in a 4x4 jeep!! Our Chase credit card would NOT help us since we signed their idiotic contract and now we are filing as an insurance claim with Chase. When we tried to argue with RUBARENT they threatened to CALL THE POLICE on US!!! boycott them and never never never rent from them regardless of the "price"..sometimes it IS too good to be true. Our $407 for the week turned into almost $1200$$$$$$$$

    We are still waiting on the report from the police! We paid 1800 us dollars for 13 weeks hahahaha guess this at really could be too good to be true! Let's see what the police say. Tomorrow it'll be a week so I'll be back at the station asking for my accident report, fingers crossed x

    We have the report we are not at fault yay now surprisingly can't get in touch with the manager of royal now I have proof it wasn't our fault!

    would it be beneficial for you to return the car early?
    would they hold you to the entire 3 months?

    i think that if i were in your shoes, i would return the vehicle a week early (rent another for your last week from another company)
    that way, if royal gives you grief, at least you will be still on island and will have the benefit of corresonding with them in person instead of from over in the UK.

    There is an option you might consider. Go to the web site for the Aruba Chamber of Commerce. Get the contact info and lodge a business complaint with them
