Renting a car - what do we need?

Hi guys,

We are looking to rent a car in Aruba.. is it difficult? We have never rented a car before... do you need to bring your auto insurance card? Anything specific we need to know? Thanks!!

Get insurance with the rental, heard of to many problems with disappearing cars, damage etc.

Certain company's will only rent if you are older than twenty-five, valid drivers license, major credit card and like Cindyo stated you may want to purchase the extra insurance to avoid future headaches, (carefully inspect vehicle for damage or missing hub caps prior to leaving rental company)

Not sure if you know this but I do know American Express will provide rental car insurance if you use their card to reserve and rent the car.
That's what I did this week.

Call and check your Amex account if it has this coverage in it.
