We will be at the renaissance hotel, and was thinking about renting a convertible or jeep for a day to travel the island.

Are there any close rental places? Can we get a shuttle from hotel to the rental place?

and anyone know of good places to rent a convertible, let me know, thanx.

At the Renaissance, there is a Thrifty on site.

Most agencies will pick you up, take you to their offices to do the paperwork and send you on your way.

ive sent requests to yes and haven't heard back, how long does it usually take him to respond? Ive called several companies and they are all out of jeeps for the day I want, in JULY !!! Whoda thunk

supply vs demand
july is a busy month.

try some of the other places that rent jeeps and keep us informed.

Off the top of my head, for a Jeep, have you tried:
Hertz, Avis, Amigo, Royal, More4Less ?
Imo and experience renting in Aruba, cheapest is not ALWAYS the best vehicle.

When there just trot yourself over to the desk and they will arrange all. No need to do in advance, we never have after 10+ years.
