I would suggest going with a car rental over a scooter rental in Aruba. We rented a scooter one year just for a day and wouldn't do it again in Aruba. The cars travel too fast on the main roads and because it's so windy it always felt like my helmet was going to take my head right off while riding. It just ended up being very uncomfortable.
