Which sights are accessible by mini van

We are traveling to Aruba with a party of 7 and we are renting a mini van. we were wondering which sites we would be able to see with our van. As I understand it, all sights except the natural pool should not be a problem. Is this correct? Do you think we need/should rent out some jeeps to see the sights?

    Thanks

welcome to the aruba.com community forum

if you want to be in jeeps, i recommend a jeep tour. that way if there is an issue with the vehicle when off roading you will not be responsible....you'd be on a tour!

anyway in no particular order, to name a few, a mini van CAN do the following

    alto vista chapel
    california lighthouse
    baby beach
    rock formations
    paved road of arikok
    fallen down natural bridge
    gold mine ruins
    arashi beach

    imo that is aplenty!

will come back here shortly and post link to jeep tours.

    again, welcome to the forum

We have taken the route along the coast off road from the California Lighthouse to collapsed natural bridge in a 12 passenger van. But we did take it slowly where necessary and it was bumpy.

If you did not want to rent two jeeps or take a guided tour, another option we have used when there were only 7 of us, was to rent a FWD 7 passenger SUV.

Thanks for all the info. I'll grab a van and just take it easy from the lighthouse to the natural bridge. We're trying to avoid the 2 jeeps.

If you don't want to risk the bumpy route from the lighthouse to the natural bridge, it IS accessible by inland paved roads.

I did not know that thank you!! I only hear people taking that very bumpy route and I don't think that would be good for my bad back. Ha! Ha! It makes me a little nervous to do that. So, can you see many of these sights without the bumpy route?

We have used ABC Jeep tours in the past. Not for the faint of heart or for anyone who has a bad back. It was incredibly bumpy but we saw things one would not ever see any other way. (or so I thought). Good to know there are paved roads out there someplace.

Taking the paved roads try to follow a De Palm bus or you may get lost. Presumably you want to see Alto Vista Chapel and Peace Labyrinth, the Gold Mill Ruins as well as the collapsed Natural bridge area.

I like the off road route for the view of the sea

As well as the site of some hidden gems such as
