tam hertz rental

has anyone used hertz inside the tam resort? just wondering if bad or good details i should know, already booked with them, via hertz.com

also, are the cars at hertz fairly new and in good shape? don't want a piece of junk that i have to push back to the tam

fairly new is "subjective"

we always rent thru TROPIC and get good vehicles TOYOTA YARIS and although a few yrs old, they are in good shape.

HAve used different rental agencies on the island over the past 20 + years will no problem. Only had one issue many years ago renting a moped, broke down in a very unfortunate place. As with any rental company it's a crap shoot.

As Andrea said, hit or miss with many agencies. Just because it is "Hertz" does not mean it is going to be a brand new low mileage vehicle. Hopefully it will.
