Taxi aprox costs?

Hi )

So, if we are staying at the Tam, and are thinking of the following as choices for restaurants:

Wacky Wahoos
Flying Fishbone
Passions
Old Man on the Sea
Madam Jeanettes

Can someone tell me average the taxi fare to these places?

Also, does anyone know of a map that shows restaurants and hotels?

I didn't stay at the Tam, but from the Occidental going to the shopping center in town was a flat rate of $11 USD, your hotel should know all the rates.

Wacky Wahoos
$9 each way

Flying Fishbone
$30 each way

Passions
$7 each way

Old Man on the Sea
$30 each way

Madam Jeanettes
$9 each way

Add $3 on Sunday or a holiday and after 11 pm

Imo, Flying Fishbone & OM&TS are next door to one another, substitute somewhere else for one of them, and save the expensive taxi fare for one of those nights.

Perhaps use this list http://www.restaurantsaruba.com/topten.html for some suggestions which were not already listed on your thread at

Thanks! This is very good to know. $60 for a cab ride is WAY too much! How much is it to rent a jeep for the day? Anyone know?

In June we paid $60pd. for a small SUV at the Tam, kept it 2 days, saw the other side sites Baby Beach, San Nicholas,Charlies, Zeerovers etc. & dined off site.
