Taxi question

We will be landing at 3:00 p.m on a Sunday. We are not renting a car but plan to do a quick grocery trip. Would it be cheaper to take a cab to our hotel and then take another to the grocery store or ask the driver to stop on our way from the airport and have him wait for us?

Any particular cab service better than another?

Thanks for your help.

Re: Taxi question

Having resaerched this for myself, I believe that the stores will be closed by the time you arrive. I am sure that Ling's closes at 1, ad the others may be open until 2.

Re: Taxi question

Hey, try Ling and sons on line. They deliver to your hotel or time share.Check it out ! Forget the cab waiting...your price will be 3x the amt it SB. Cabs come and go quickly at Lings, so go, shop if desired, and grab one afterwards. $5 to or from hotel.

Since you are arriving late Sunday, you will have to wait until Monday for grocery shopping. The supermarkets close at 1 pm on Sunday except for Certified which closes at 2 pm. Mon-Sat the markets are open 8 am-8 pm.
