How does someone contact and make arrangements with Bully? What is his prices, is it a limo service or a taxi service? Do they charge per trip or per person?

Bully has a van and can be reached at 593 7520
bullytaxi79@hotmail.com

Prices are standard what any taxi would charge, as fees set by the government. http://taxiaruba.com/new/farelist.html

From the airport:
Low-rise hotels $17 each way per car (NOT per person)
High-reise hotels $20 each way per car (NOT per person)

Extra bags and such see http://taxiaruba.com/new/policy.html

Though his nickname is Bully, the return email will be from "Amador Lacle", he really is a teddy bear!

Thank you for the info, Bully was quick to response.

What do you typically tip taxi drivers?

Do you tip Bus drivers?

You are welcome! I am happy to hear that Bully was so quick to respond.

We have always been told that for taxi drivers tips were included in the fare. With this said though we like to tip at least $1 per bag/suitcase. My brother tipped him $10 for 4 suitcases, a set of golf clubs and 4 carry ons.

All in all I would have to say tip what you feel most comfortable in giving.

I am not sure about tipping bus drivers, but would think it is not necessary.

This is via bus and stops at each resort between the airport and your final destination. A taxi from the airport will cost $20 to the high rise resorts, or $17 to the low rises. This is per ride, not per person. Taxi is the best bet if you wish to get directly to your resort.

Taxis from airport

Hello. Well I have been reading about the difficulties with the airlines (though it seems the flights are getting in okay now) and the taxi situation. We go in 3 1/2 weeks and we always just catch a cab outside the airport to our hotel.
Has anyone had trouble getting cabs at the airport without prior service set up?
Thanks for any guidance!

Connie

Thumbs up

Never a problem. Many waiting during the day. Now at night I don't know.
At night the cabs are usually at the hotels/timeshares waiting for the restaurant traffic.

As long as there are flights due in there are cabs at the airport. They do not leave until the last flight arrives.

Thanks! We hadn't had problems in the past but with the strike/protest issues I wanted to make sure it was still working well. Sounds like it is!
