We rent a car when on Aruba but this year the company that we rent from is out of cars(TROPIC)Who would you rent from.We only need a economy car,Yaris or similar.

If you are picking up at the airport I just got a good price from Budget, but book from the Budget Aruba site, not the Budget worldwide site as the rate is about $15 less for the week. We like to book for the week as we save on the taxi fares to and from the airport and always have the car available for day trips and dinner so we're not always paying for taxis. I'm sure some of the smaller companies are fine but we have had a few bad experiences with them (dirty cars, bald tires) and decided to go with the name brands the past few years even if a few extra dollars. They are all locally owned so you're still helping a local business.

We had the same situation with Tropic. We rented from Ricky at More4Less. Had his Honda fit for 5 1/2 weeks and we did not have one problem with it! Fantastic car, fantastic price, and fantastic service. As a matter of fact, when Hans had no cars available for us, Hans was the one that recommended we use Ricky and More4Less.
