I still don't understand that "tradition". When Kildare's was open they had green beer on tap and Guiness in cans. Aruba is the only place I've ever seen an Irish pub fail and I have to think it was karma.

A few years ago I was in an Irish-style pub and an obviously drunken man walked in and told the bartender he wanted a green beer for St Patricks day. When informed that they didn't have any he wanted to know why. The bartender simply told him "Because this is an Irish pub" and walked away from him. We tipped well for that one.

WE arrive on the 16th. Staying at the DIVI (7th trip). what time do the festivities kick off at thr Bunker Bar??? 11am i hope! See you there:cool:

We arrive on the 13th! We went the the Bunker Bar party a few years ago around 2pm and it was in full swing. I assume it goes 12-6 when the Bar is open. We walked down one year around 7pm and the place was locked up tight - kinda took us by surprise as we're use to Boston St. Patty's Day parties that start in the morning and go late into the night - ha! See you there!!

Bunker Bar will be decorated when it opens @ 11:00 AM. Bunker Bar closes @ 7:00 PM. It will be jumping all day however things normally heat up around 5:00. Get there early enough and there might be someone around to tint your hair or beard green!

Sounds like plan......see y'all there
