We'll be there
We'll be there
That is true - but it is nice to be in 80-90 degree weather instead of the cold, snowy, rainy, or both, streets of South Boston. The parade watching days are over for me - bring on Aruba!!! We're going to call out friends back in Boston mid-afternoon and let them listen to the waves and music - ha!
my mom was 1st generation irish american, born and raised in southie and lots of family members are still there and very active participants in all of the Irish goings on re: the parade.
noting does compare to the southie parade.
and like hockeymom
those parade days are over for me and 80 +degree weather is more to my liking.
I can do without the "Breakfast" with all the politicians myself...........80 sounds great to me! but I wont mind raising a glass or two at 11 AM !!
This will be our 2nd year in Aruba. Arriving on March 15th and staying at the Tam. We will definitely be at the Bunker Bar on St Pats Day! Hope to meet all of you there. Also, my sister turns 50 on the 16th so that will be another party at the Bunker for us! I'm new to the forum so I'll work on a photo soon.

11 Days to Go! Counting Down Now!
Every day @ sundown, George plays taps as the sun sets on the horizon. Taps is followed by a few group songs as a traditional toast to the Bartender on duty!

LIFE IS GOOD
We were there a few times for that last year. Loved it! Can't wait to hear it again this year!
