    When To Arrive In September

So we are thinking of doing a trip again this year and I amin need of some opinions. The past fewyears we have traveled the first week of September, usually leaving theTuesday/Wednesday after Labor Day. It seemed a little less crowded with all ofthe USA families back home and starting school. The past year or two I noticed an influx of South American familiesthere that week after our Labor Day.Since Labor Day is late this year (Sept 7) I was thinking of pushing ourarrival date to Sept. 8th or 9th and not Sept. 1st or 2nd.Do I take a chance and hope the USA familiesare all back that first week of September or will the USA families and theSouth American families be there at the same time.Im leaning to arriving Sept. 8thor 9th.Any recommendations wouldbe appreciated.

    Thanks MAZOO

Hate to disappoint you, but this USA family will be there from 26 August till 11 September. Lately we have been going every year at this time (it's also my birthday) and find the crowds a bit smaller, even during the week leading up to Labor Day.

Birthdays and annivesaries - alot of toasts to make! We will be at the usual Monday night BB parties at Amsterdam Manor's beach bar but we could also plan some night after dinner around 9ish for a few celebratory drinks. I'm up for any suggestions? Where are you staying and will you have a car (want to make sure it's a place that's easy for everyone to get to). We'll have a rental car so most places will work for us.

We plan on making the BB parties on the 31st and 7th. We are staying for the first two nights at the Holiday Inn, then two weeks at the Surf Club. We will also have a car the entire time, though a cab or walking may be our best bet depending on location and number of toasts

We should be at the BB parties at Amsterdam Manor on the 31st and 7th, too. The 7th is our anniversary so will probably be doing dinner at Passions that night.
