July 25, last full day in Paradise and the end

Path towards Isla Di Oro not safe to walk on. Concrete broke and sunk as we hopped along

On the 26 day of July we packed our bags, checked out of the lovely Hilton, and stopped at the Bird Sanctuary for a moment.

Wow you make me feel like I am way to lazy on my vacation- lol! Looks like you had a great busy time! I hit the heat and slow way down and I love it that way but when our friends come with us they are lets do this and let's do that and I tell them I will do 1 thing with them and then they are on their own! That's why I love reading these trip reports and hearing what everyone does- gives me suggestions for my friends when they join us!( and of course I am living vicariously through you all)

One of the other swimmers found it odd that I would wake up so early and come to practice on vacation, but the conditions were perfect for pool swimming. I swim solo at home too so it was a nice twist to training

We've been back for 6 days and I am still recovering from the vacation. I had quite a few things I wanted to do for this trip and did manage as well as other things. It was also nice to slow down some on the 2nd half of the trip to refine and savor the experiences too. It was certainly a nice time, but it seemed like a 2 wk time machine and went by too darn quick.

Moved these pictures/videos to the picture and video thread, I just read the instructions for this thread - was supposed to use napkins

Great shots, thanks for sharing! My favorite is the sunrise/moon face-off.
